Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Chicken Tinga is made with shredded chicken in a savory sauce of tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, and chipotle chilis. Traditionally served as a stew or on a tostada with a layer of refried beans topped with avocado slices, shredded lettuce, crumbled cheese, Mexican crema, and salsa, you can also use this tender meat in tacos, burritos, and salads.
INGREDIENTS Chicken breast with tomato sauce, sweet bell peppers, chipotle peppers (Chipotle peppers, tomato purée, onions, vinegar, canola oil, sugar, salt, paprika, garlic). Onions, water, clear frying oil. Tomato bouillon (tomato bouillon contains yeast extract and less than 2% dye.) Garlic, bay leaf, black pepper.
