The term mole stems from the Nahuatl world molli, which means “sauce” or “concoction.” Mole comes from a family of sauces prepared throughout the Oaxaca and Puebla regions of Mexico and is characterized by a complex, layered flavor derived from intricate blends of dried chiles, spices, fruits, and seasonings.


INGREDIENTS: Chicken breast, water, Xiqueno Mole Paste (Ancho Chili/Mulato Chili, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Banana, Corn Tortilla, Toasted and Groud White Bread, Sesame, Prune, Raisins, Onion, Peanut, Almond, Spices, Garlic, Salt, Pumpkin seed) Black Mole Paste (Pasilla, Ancho, Mulato Peppers, toasted bread, Sesame seed, peanuts, raisins, plantains, almonds, cocoa, corn oil, salt, sugar and spices) Guajillo Paste, Onions, Tomato Bouillon, dehydrated parsley, caramel color, red tomatoes, garlic, totopos, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, mint, oregano, cumin, spice, allspice.

In Mexico we eat Mole with rice on the side, we add onions and lime.
